Smokey clouds stretch across the sun
A purple cast appears
An apricot color decorates
Silhouetted trees sear
A light show on the horizon
The sun seemed to reverse
Dark purple clouds wrap around
The roosters' song terse
Fog that filled the vale eight feet deep
Lifted without a sound
On the creek a honking bird
Sang a tune just one round
Only a tiny golden peek
From the now rising sun
Smokey gray and deep purple clouds
Dominate guess the sun's done
Out on the porch for a short while this morning..Sara
