Smoke
I stood before my grounds,
Watching as the different lights fumed the air.
Smoke engulfing my life.
The tears leaving scars on my face,
Nothing to turn to..
Looking around for help,
To only get a hallow answer,
That haunts me to this day.
Having my back turned,
Sucking in all the pain,
That lingers around my feet each day.
My hands placed on my heart,
Never to forget.
Never to walk away.
Let the flames crash down,
Let the life I once had,
Burst into ashes.
Flashbacks,
Still eat away at my mind.
Looking down,
To the scars left from te day my life has changed.
The day that woke me up.
