Smog

The atrocity of greed has never reached so high;
The morality of man has never plunged so low.

For who but greed-fueled man would commit such an act,
forcing vanguards to poison what they were born to protect?

Across the sea, the souls of trees weep;
Into our lungs, the stink of death creep.

Thanks a lot, SKATOZ. It's really gratifying to find a little niche for amateur Malaysian poets out here. I have just started developing and interacting with this blossoming passion for poetry and literature, and would really value your opinions and advices in the future.
