Smiling With Angst

Watching my love from afar
He never once noticed my happiness with him
Couldn't even call
When I feared in the late hours
Death might have phoned his soul
No reconciliation for the female adore
That I never once heard of
But I bet she wasn't me
Who is this obscure scent hanging roun' bout your collar
Hearken to me your broken-hearted truths
