SMILING WHEN I DIE

SMILING WHEN I DIE Want to work hard To achieve greatness And to leave a good heritage when I'm gone I don't want my story to die with me, I want to keep smiling when I'm dead. Don't want to be like a mountain snake I want to have great impact in life Want the masses to still praise my name when I'm gone I want to keep smiling in my grave, for that goods are said about my name when I'm no more. Want to keep smiling when I die So I work hard all days and night To show life that I'm relevant I don't want to just come and leave without achieving great things. I don't want to go into exile like smoke in the air When I breathe no more, I want to earn praise I want their prayers and happy words to keep my dead body smiling Want to live happily when I leave. When I die I don't want to be sad in the sand I want my generation to keep eating from my plant Want people to share my heroic story across the globe Want my name to still remain in their heart That's is the only way I can smile when I die. © Sulaimon Khalid
