Smiling Faces In a Vase
Smiling faces in a vase
I smile when e're I see one
Like puppets on a string
those golden flowers
a smile doth bring
I feel that any moment
they will burst into a song
Whenever they are here
there is singing all day long
I gaze at them for hours
Unlike any other flowers
I sometimes hear their giggles
and their gentle chitter chatter
Whether growing in the soil
or standing tall inside a vase
~ Sunflowers ~
somehow make me feel
as if I’m not alone
as if I really matter
When they are here with me at home
Those
smiling faces
full of love
melt my heart
make me smile
spreading love
here all the while…
