Smile Through the Tears
I've got a smile
On my face
During those hard times
When I am sad
And feel like the entire world
Is against me
For I know I've got to keep going.
I've got a smile
On my face
When the tears
Are rolling down my cheeks
And all I want to do
Is hide in bed and cry.
I've got a smile
On my face
During those times
I wish I were not on the earth anymore
For I know I have to stay strong
And keep pressing forward
No matter what battles
Life throws at me.
