Smile, Jesus Loves You

Sometimes in life, events pilfer our smile,
and oft times we’re tempted to query why.
We view it as punishment not a faith trial,
that has grieved our day and It’s gone awry.
In prayer we seek strength for another mile,
while in thought we ponder, do others truly care.
If some temporary event has stolen our smile,
God won’t put more on us than we can bear.
1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
