Smile For Me

Where sleeps my heart
when it beats not
in your hands?
Where are my eyes
when they see not
your beauty?

They are dormant to the world
for lack of you,
your love.

Where lives the light
that shines
in your presence?
Where dwells the hope
of your eternal
devotion?

They are alive,
but awaiting,
the sunshine of your smile.
