Smile For All To See

Don’t mess up, Walk the straight line. Question not, Everything’s fine. Eyes in the sky, and on the ground below; They’re watching you… To them, no longer a John Doe. Don’t be scared, Don’t mess up. It’s for your own good. You’re bound to be misunderstood. United for one cause, Under one they stand. Eyes front, suspicion free; You’re a star of a show you’ve never seen. Away from them you may lean; Snoop they will because they must see, The ‘wrong’ you are doing. Their watchful eye, you are unable to flee. Smile... Go on and live your life. Smile, you’re on camera, Don’t worry it’s as harmless as a dull, blood crusted knife.

I like to think that this could be about anyone watching. I wrote this especially with the increasing issues of privacy vs. security across the world in mind. :) Thank you for the comment, much appreciated!
