SMILE AGAIN

I am sorry that you feel hopeless
Waste of space,
Broken at best
But may you find comfort in my words, especially when depression consumes you
Or at times when you can't face who's waiting in the mirror.
I want you to forget the pain,
The overwhelming misery.
Pause, take a deep breath
Ponder and cultivate,
I promise, change will be yours.
Be happy once more,
You may never get back the life you had before
But just remember how to smile.
