Smile

(Smile)

Soaked wet...
Was the last straw,
Could life get any worse,

She sat and wondered,
Hoping and wishing
For better days,
Drenched to the skin,
With saddened heart!

Was this her story?
For the rest of life,
Why do some people
Seem to have everything

Parents that care!
Nice cloths,
Enough money,
Warm houses,
While others...sleep in gutters,

Life didn't seem fair,
She looked around,
At people...passing by,

Why does life do this?
When will the rains stop,
And the Sun shine my way,

Every day hoping for a break
Not able to see through the clouds,
For the dripping water,

Just when she thought,
It couldn't get any worse,
Someone took her picture
Smile...they said,
Your beautiful....

She looked up and thought,
Your joking...

A man holding a camera spoke,
Can I publish your story!
