Smile

AN ILLUSION OF MY LOVED ONES
IS MY SYMPATHY
AS THEY SMILED AT ME
WAS MY INNOCENCE
NOT ME
SEEN SOME SHADOWS
AS THEY WERE BLESSINGS
FOR ME
NOW I SEE MY OWN SHADOW
AND I SEE NO ONE
WITH ME
PERHAPS, MY INNOCENCE HAS GONE
OR
SOMEBODY HAS STOLEN IT
FROM ME
I AM NOT A THIEF
I NEED MY INNOCENCE
I NEED THOSE BLESSINGS
AND A SMILE
ONCE AGAIN
FOR ME

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
