Smile

Why did you have to leave me 
was it something that I said 
Was it just a broken promise 
or something worse instead 
Did I forget to say I love you 
that night you said goodbye 
Tell me, was that the reason 
I somehow made you cry 
I'm not looking for forgiveness 
you've been gone a while 
The only thing I ask of you 
is will you give me back my smile
