Smile

Smile for me
So I can see
How you be;
Trapped or free.

Does it reach your eyes?
Reveal truths or lies.
Bold with joy, it shines?
Or with sadness dies?

I can tell so much of you,
From one small gesture you do.
Your façade, I can see through,
In times now past, or now new.

So now with me pretend not ever,
Wether you are strong and together,
Or as delicate as a feather,
My friendship with you I'll not sever.

So smile with me,
A smile of glee,
As now we're free,
Free to be we.

a very sweet poem. it is true, you can tell much about a person through their smile.
