Smelling
I do wander around flowery gardens,
Where floral odors can be found to reside,
Each flower has a unique tale, aroma, and song,
I genuinely feel at home in this scented universe.
A rose with delicate, red petals,
Its fragrance dances in the wind,
A pristine and snow-white lily,
In the garden, its aroma is growing subtly.
But I love more than simply flowers,
The earthy fragrance following the summer's rain,
Or the enticing scent of hot bread,
My mind is a patchwork of all these smells.
From the saline, salted embrace of the sea,
To the enduring beauty of the pine forest,
The world smells so wonderful,
A melody of smells, during the day and at night.
Allow me to enjoy each scent yet again,
For I'm obsessed with the sensation of smell,
I find myself in this universe of scents,
With each embrace comes a wonderful aroma trip.
