Smell of Autumn

Smell of Autumn in the evening dusk Decaying leaves slowly becoming dust, Scent of that Sixties patchouli musk Smell of Autumn in the evening dusk. Breezes becoming somewhat brusque Leaves still green but tinging with rust, Smell of Autumn in the evening dusk Decaying leaves slowly becoming dust.

Wonderful triolet; you are the master of this form.

Aw, thanks, Caren. I do enjoy writing them. I just got out of the hospital after about four days, and I wrote about a dozen forthcoming poems. One a triolet. One of my nurses told me that stress is very helpful to the creative spirit. Don't know if that's true, but I seemed to knock them out! I missed reading about three or four days of your work, so I need to catch up!

Pleasant in all ways. POTD worthy. Loved the rhythm. Here the desicated essence is non-herbal, more off -gassing of oils and resins as we pass another month without rain. - Ken

Towards the end of summer when things start to change and you know autumn isn't far away. My favourite season without a doubt. Have a great week Milton. Tom

Thank you, Tom. Same to you. I'm a fan of Spring; not so much of Autumn, but I do like the colors and the smells.

It's those decaying leaves, that must odor that just hangs over us in the humidity. Overpowering stuff. Spot-on penning, my friend. ~ Gershon
