Small Window

Looking out my small window, I see
The vastness of the world beyond me
Mountains rise, trees sway
And birds soar, as if to say

There is so much to explore
The wonders of nature galore
I may be confined to this small space
But the view before me is a saving grace

Through this window, I see the sunrise
And watch as the clouds paint the skies
I see the colors of the changing seasons
And marvel at the beauty of all reasons

Despite the limited view from here
I feel connected to the world, far and near
This small window is my escape
To the wonders of the world, which I can take

In my mind, I travel far and wide
And explore the world, side by side
With each new sight, my heart leaps
And the world's beauty, my soul keeps

So, though I may be confined to this small space
My view from the window is an amazing embrace
Of the world's splendor, which I can see
And the wonders of nature that set my heart free.
