Small Town Fever

I grew up in a small town Nothing going on for miles around Come on lets go down And listen to the crickets I love that sound Peace and quiet nights out in the boon docks NO big cities for this country girl A yard with cars on blocks And a good old boy to give me the world A little peace of land And a small house with a garden Worked with my own hands Were every ones your friend and times a bargain No worries to trouble you from day to day Just you and this beautiful world in Gods grace Watching the wind blow the dust away And the smiles on your child face
