Small Bier

A fly caught in a freeze frame
Paralysed by a spider
Clinging comatosely to a curtain
It was shaken free from its slumber
To be ambushed, where it fell,on the window ledge
An opportunistic spider,on the lookout for prey
Scuttling with instinctive purpose to pounce
Dragged to death
Into the spider's lair to stock
Its shimmering,intricate larder
Part of a feast to be relished in due course
A moment serendipitous for the arachnid
Tragic for the fly
Nature's way,life and death's interplay.
