Slowly Discover Ourselves
Slowly discover ourselves
The conscience burns like the sun making time hurtle out into the stars reflecting thoughts back over and over
Knowing only that we are the children of the universe in a vast expanse of billions upon billions of minds
The stars are a woman’s womb forever fertile and can explode and emerge a new constellation and the black dark matter is a man’s soul caught in the cross fire
Be quiet my precious child for a new day rises and a new sun makes shadow puppets of us all
Aging in clear gases and an atmosphere sworn only to kill and be killed tirelessly until darkness clears the soul
Do not go into the light but only rest your head like stones on moss till the owl’s eyes tell a different story of old
Creeping closer to history is the future and then we shall all learn the truth of why stars need us to survive on planets for it is no coincidence.
