Slipping Away
Slipping trough my fingers
Slipping away from me
Everything I had
I knew this would happen
This feeling of emptiness
This feeling as though I had to much
And it all slipped away
When really I had nothing at all
Really I've been at this low point the whole time
I've avoided it
I've held onto hope
I've let it get to far
To far away, to big to grasp
Our hearts aren't big enough for more disappointment
Our lives can't take anymore
Foolish games, and Fairy tales
Are for people who had it
Who had the hope, and held on
But when I look back, maybe... I wasn't really holding on after all
