Slipped On a Tear Drop

Slipped on a Tear Drop

I slipped on a tear drop and landed
Upside down in a crystal world
Wherever I looked reflections rebound
Up was down and down was up
Oh what have I gone and got handed

It’s worse than fun maze on a pier
How can I make it out of here
If this was up and that was down its worse I fear
For now I am lost in time and space it appears
Round in circles like a merry go round here

Now I find that in revolving of the mind
I cannot see a way, am I blind
With eyes that will not see behind
The crystal maze that I seem to find
It’s holding me here in its inclined

Wish there was a way out of this space
Why did slip on the tear drop on my face
That’s what I must discover so to leave this place
What made me cry to have this time and space
Discovery will make me free to come to my place

Mary, good use of imagination. When reading your poem, I felt as if I took a walk through "Twilight Zone." The title of your poem is quaint and makes readers curious on what is written. Thank you for sharing. ~ Sonia
