Slippage
Sliding into a crater
of emotion,
Current stronger than
the Mighty Ocean,
Gravity of Love
Falling, falling...
What a wonderful
slippage is this,
If I lied I would be remiss,
I may not be so young,
Or so handsome anymore,
But my heart is still rich,
With love that does endure
I don't know what
Tomorrow's horoscope
does hold,
I don't know how the
future will unfold
It matters little
I've got what I want
A love which has
so long seemed to haunt
Slippage, I let it
slide away,
But this is
another day
We may never again kiss
We may never again caress
But one thing
I gladly confess
Just to know she still
does care,
Is more than a hope,
I ever did dare.
