Slip, Please

Slip, please? I’m high up on a slider I can’t get a grip I’m slipping, but I manage to hang on. I don’t know how I should plummet But I’m stuck and then I slide A little and stop The more I look down The less fear I have. I’m looking forward To the drop. To hitting The ground. I no longer Want to try, to climb To maintain the struggle Even though the end’s Unknown, below me. I let go, I dangle I should be in free-fall But I’m stuck The torture continues. I’m high up on a slider I can’t get a grip… David Cox 28/03/22
