Slimerick

I heard of this snazzy new diet
It looked so good I thought I’d try it
You eat what you like
No exercise bike
Whatever you eat you can fry it

My pizza edge has cheese right through it
I eat cakes and puddings and suet
This diet is great
I haven’t lost weight
But I know that I can stick to it

Ah yes Terry ... nothing more important than sticking to a diet. I admit I do like the idea of yours. It keeps the rabbits away - thanks Terry - Lindsay

I guess it works on the notion that when you can’t have something, you want it all the more. It’s just reverse psychology, don’t you know? Terry

I’ll use it as the formula for a new dieting book… should sell a dozen or so, Belle. Terry

Thanks, Ilene. After confusing everybody with ‘No God Of Mine’ I fancied a far more straightforward write. Glad you enjoyed. Terry

Seven pounds in a month… that's half a stone: not bad going that. I think lost weight is easier to keep off the slower you lose it. Well done on what you’ve achieved so far. Terry

Applause! That's the kind of diet that would send me to my grave. Thank goodness, my nieces gave me an air fryer. I swear by it.

LOL. I never thought of it, Terry, but you are so correct. Don't know what else to call it, though.

An air fryer sounds like Robin Hood’s mate in a helicopter. Thanks for the applause. Terry
