Sleepy Sport

In our heads the season was far from over
so we played a game in late September.
He said, "before the sun sets
can we not take a rest?"
"But we already are, this is baseball remember?"

Haha, I'll stick with my basketball, Go Heat!! All football revolves around are men wearing tights who hurt each other over a ball. It's ridiculous. I don't GET baseball, but, I'd probably look up ever hour or so.

Well like I said previously, working at a baseball game I start to see why people like it. Baseball if more of an "atmosphere" than a full on raging sport. Not a whole lot goes on, but the crowds, the smell of peanuts, the little baseball noises... it's a very inviting feeling *shrugs*...

I saw what you said to Richard. Yes it used to be called our national pastime. I still prefer it to that horrible football. And it is a great sport for watching one's kids play.

Yeah I don't see the appeal in football myself... still to this day the rules greatly confuse me. I can understand people going to an actual game of baseball... but I never understood how people enjoyed watching it on TV...

It used to be the American sport (now it's football). I don't think baseball is all that exciting, honest, but I do respect that it's much more family oriented than any other sport I can think of.
