Sleepy

Light creeps through the windows
She opens one eye to gather the time
Then wishes for gathering shadows
Before she hears the alarm bells chime

There is so much to be done for the day
Mentally she organizes her chores for later
As she yearns for much more sleepy play
Her pillow and blankets are happy to cater
