Sleeping With the Enemy
I thought we were in love
But I was in love by myself
Didn’t know I was sleeping with the enemy
A distraction you were
Distracting me from my God
I let it happen
I take responsibility for that
But I don’t take responsibility for your actions
Sleeping with the enemy
Looked me in my eyes saying “I love you”
Your words were lies
Your actions proved it
Your wanted me to fall, you plotted it out
Laying next to me, deceitful smile
I was sleeping with the enemy
My God saw me crying
He heard my prayers
He wrapped his arms around me
He dried my tears
He saved me from sleeping with the enemy
