Sleeping Timeless Beauty
Sleeping Ageless Beauty.
Her face Shows the ravages of old age and time
A face weathered worn
wrinkled craggy uneven
And engraved with furrow and line
She has stood tall her head in the clouds
Against the battering unforgiving wild
Wind snow and rain
Along with her sleeping sisters
Overlooking a wild inhospitable rugged
Windswept terrain
Moulded shaped hewn
By formidable elements
Under countless sun stars and amorous moon
Her ruggedness and unevenness
Gives her a kind of majestic beauty
Although silent she speaks
When captured by adoring eye
By an onlooker who stands in awe
Soaking in the peace making heart smile
Leaving satisfied
Inspiring artist and poet
And lovers who swooned
Under her presence
And amorous moon.
