Sleep My Child

Sleep my child don’t you fear
God is listening to every prayer
Kneel down beside me bow your head
Recite these prayers till you are dead

Bless this child and keep him safe
From harm and danger and all that’s grave
And take me please within his place
If need be God his saving grace

Times are tough but don’t you cry
God is listening he won’t let you die
The world is scarey people are lost
Do not lose your faith at any cost

I watch over you sweet child of mine
God is listening just give it time
I am here for you forever more
Hold on tight it’s a senseless tour

The child (still) in me is comforted by this beautifully composed devotion. Superb penning, Kelli! :) Gershon

Emotional words Kelli. I love the verse God is listening just give it time. Fear not for the Lord is with us. Sweet Dreams
