Sleep Lover Sleep

Lay still with eyes closed and
feel the hot sun upon your face.
Feel the soft warming sensation
moving through your body.

Breath deeply feel the air rush
through your nostrils filling your lungs.
Be aware of your body as you breath feeling
your breast’s rise and fall with each breath

Listen to the singing of the birds.
Their songs filling your ears
with a crescendo that fills your head.
It’s beauty is something to behold.

Now in this place of great beauty
stop and empty your head of all
things external to your body.
Be at one with yourself feel your heart beating.

With an empty head allow your mind to wonder
Through the corridors of your thoughts.
Linger slowly in places where you experienced love
then move on remembering that feeling of love.

Then with your eyes closed
Your breathing and heart beating
And the feeling of intense love
Drift off into a peaceful sleep

My darling as you lay there on the grass
I have never seen you look so beautiful.
As you sleep I will stay with you and protect you
nothing will ever hurt you as I’m your protector
and you hold my love
