Sleep Is Waiting

Sleep is waiting outside the door.
Take a cool shower,
Put on your night dress
And join the bus.

Duvets and pillows
Have their arms widely opened
In the wait for your gift,
Of kisses and warm embrace.

Great insight in this poem. Too ma y of us fight sleep instead of embracing it. You weighed your words well in this work. Keep surprising me. Best regards David in NZ
