Sleep

Roll over wake up half dead, Routine how mundane it is is still the proud winnings you get. You're up but you're not celebrated, Once innocent with wonders of the sun rise then put to shame with the constant taping of the drums. The music turns the band into a concoction of mellow drama, The windows shadow over the curtains. Have yourself a piece of peace which warranted as just but a loan. Serotonin replaces the cold shift, A steel rod is slammed into your spine. The first cold taunt of reality, Standards of a main choir have only yet to begin, Rust erodes the joints that let you ironically live and breath. Short cuts only take you so far, Never listening to the announcement is screaming yet muffled. You only hear the horror, it's a typical non wealthy day. No peace for the wicked, Knocks on your door just to preach what you already know, The higher above have judged everyone but the mighty hasn't fallen.

No, No revenge. Not malice just a balance that can be rammed through the system in such the flaming sword is but a glimpse, No Not hate no unmeasured fate, No reason for the those have such great out-comes. For death is heaven and living is limbo. It's fine for the refined but it's gray for the mismanaged. You'll get back to your own world and the control you have once you get back to slumber, The only time you have when you're still breathing. Total your DNA Isn't made for it, The sleep you have isn't logical, It's freely. It's nascence, It's percid. The mystical nature of your complexed psyche is taken for granted, you've over used and under stimulated your own freedom,. Now you're in a warm steamy bath, The water never turns cold and the silence is imminent. You've fallen for the centuries old gamble, The outside is cold a unforgiving But this place is so familiar. You feel the water hugging your stress, suffocating it till you've reached your hand out to turn off the tap. But the water never stops, deep down you don't want it to stop. You're too at peace with this is place you being to ask " why leave?" when you can be warm in the water with the silence., You close your eye's to see your universe made by you for you. Then you open your eye's to see the lights and talking of white ceilings, "Hey can you hear us!?" "You're lucky we got to you on time!" Lucky? Sure, now you have paid hands holding you back while they dig into your life savings, Was the moment worth the results? No, for you could've been in the dream, put to sleep but now you're asleep.
