Sledding

I want to do this again! The last time I did this my youngest daughter was fourteen, so that was thirty years ago!

nothing captures winter as much as the picture you've created here, milton!

I think so, Ilene. It took me back a long time ago to sledding when I was a kid. It was a huge get-together with a bonfire and loads of fun.

Brought back happy memories Milton, when I look back at some of the slopes we sled down, its a wonder we weren't killed lol. Tom

So true, Tom. I recall sledding toward a pond. If you weren't careful in your steering, it was into the pond you'd go. I can't remember anyone every hitting the pond because absolutely no one wanted a dunking in ice cold water!

- I remember that time ... the sled was homemade and terribly heavy to pull uphill - Lovely poem, Milton :) - hugs

I do, too, Sunshine; although, by my time the sleds were mostly store bought and much lighter. Thank you!
