Slave of Love
To my love of yesterday, I declare.
My notion of what is fair.
To my love of days gone by,
I promise never to lie.
To my love as a child,
I vow never to be wild.
To my love of the present days,
I truly give all my loving ways.
To my love of future time,
I pray I do no crime.
To all my loves, I hereby say.
My heart was yours everyday.
My devotion was always sincere.
Along with my soul so near.
I devote and will my spirit to all.
I give it freely as a personal thrall.
Note:
I wrote this right after I got married for the fourth time, is was my way of saying to myself within that there are so many different ways to love and share love.
