Slathering and Slithering

slathering and slithering sharp tiny teeth, short and squat troll You smile and he glares trying to look fierce You laugh and he bites your foot sneaky as a snake and twice as mean The only garden danger that makes my blood run cold.

Aren't troll bites poisonous? Garden snakes aren't but then, they don't bite; they just sun themselves. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

I love garden snakes. I have saved many of the babies from my cat's mouth, and they like me. A mama garden snake used to sun herself on my top garden step, and I would say "Hi, snaky." I have never been bothered or bitten by them. But the trolls chase me in my sleep, and hit me in the petootsie with rakes and hoes and stuff.

I would've thought the cold weather would keep the trolls at bay this time of year.... but then- they are very sneaky! Enjoyed the part where he bites your foot for laughing at him! ;D

You do know I was mixing trolls and snakes up, but I have never been bitten by a snake, only a troll.

I know that snakes do not bite me. They have always been my friends, but I was hoping you might pick up on the snake factor, as I believe trolls are snakes. Bad snakes, not my good garden snakes, so thank you for that.
