Sky of Fireflies

We sat on the porch in the tranquil of the night,
Our hearts strung to each other,
Our hearts buoyed by the beauty of the night,
My inspiration finds a pathway between serenity and silence.

Fireflies traverse the sky,
Their glow lights up the stygian night,
We’re absorbed in the view,
The sickle-shaped moon stands on its podium.

Time has taught us the salient lessons,
Some of which are hidden in the chambers of nature,
We launch into the deep to know and flow in the revealed,
Walking in the meadow of the half-revealed.

She turned to look at me,
Her eyes glowed with the mist of love,
Fireflies in the sky and us in the moment,
Nature streams with wonders and beauty.

Beautiful and romantic ambience so well painted with such brilliant wordplay. Love the ending the most. So much wisdom also in the lines “Time has taught us the salient lessons, Some of which are hidden in the chambers of nature” powerful! Thank you for joining. Congrats on your win
