Sky Line
The sky was full. It was an awesome sight
Huge clouds gathered, hung in flight
Their power and glory were stunning to see
Colossal formations, gigantic to me
The colours were bland, yet an elegant blue-grey and white
The largest one, as deep as the night
Hypnotically floating, it held me in awe
Nature’s creation, laid out raw
The weather was fine but had a promise in bloom
As the sun tried in vain to disperse the gloom
The master painter had mixed and crafted
A sky brushed out and perfectly drafted
