Sky, I Want To Paint You Bright
I want to paint the sky
such that it may be the highlight of my every day.
I want to paint the sky so picturesque
such that the pre-school mistress wont have to paint chats but just point to the sky
I want to paint the sky so haphazardly
to represent the many peculiar personalities
I want to paint the sky bright
such that night cannot conquer the brightness thereof
I want to paint the sky so affectionately
such that those that seek love find it up there
I want to paint the sky calmly
so that the peace seekers may find peace
I want to paint the sky alone
to show the lonely that many people are alone
I want to paint the sky.
I wish it was drawn near to me.
The sky is too distant and musky,
the sky is too luminous yet so nebulous
I want to paint the sky
I fancy it bright and radiant
Draw nearer Sky.
Sky, I am painting you bright.
