Sky Balloons Purple Parade Part 1 of 2
Tetris colors shine between the blocks of life
Building blocks of rainbows interlocking light
Odd shapes connect to speedy geometric streets
On candy corners where stop signs sit in red and white
Hang out where parades really matter to the kids
Turned inside out and backwards in these matters
Sounds of churned machinery fade fast away
People turn out with pop corn freshly popped
Melt away their problems by looking up
Melted butter and caramel taffy stop the traffic
Pins and needles are not needed for balloons today
Twisted in the sidewalk cracks is last years bubble gum
There is no time for that as children scream and whistle
Cotton clouds drift by, hung from above the playing fields
All dressed up in white and love
