Sky

There is a soft place in the sky
Up in the clouds, way up high,
Where rainbows stretch across a blur,
Where there are ghosts of whom we were,
I cannot seem to see through the haze,
This fantastic world, a dreamy maze,
Where am I? I am in the sky,
I sit and watch the dream go by,
And in the dream, no one can lie,
No one can steal, no one can hate,
People don't use each other as bait.
This sweet land is filled with good,
More virtues to possess than I ever would,
And suddenly, I wake up with a shock,
It was a dream that I cannot unlock,
I am no longer is the sky,
Now I see that it's time to say goodbye
