Skizo

It feels like it's the day again
to walk down the street of madness
you see different houses
with colors that just aren't normal
cars from brands you've never seen
while weird kids walk the uneven sidewalk
there's a guy carrying a dog in a basket
screaming in an unknown language
it rains leaves of I don't know what
because of an unexpected blue wind
the annoying voice of an old woman
ask the scared daughter
to buy a loaf of bread and rat poison too
then the sun disappears behind the buildings
and the madness just gets darker
I just can't stop admiring myself
of how they change everyday
the script of my despair

Your imagery is vivid and startling. Each line provokes inquiry. Makes me wonder how you write your own script. Exceptional work, Marco.

I've always tried to live in line with my poetry, so I turned my personal life into a cult movie script, but usually what I watch myself is a bad low-level movie...lol lol
