Skin Deep Allure
Why can’t I accept the me that I see
Always something more that I long to be
What there is within counts for so much more
Oh, what I would give for skin deep allure
Always something more that I long to be
Of this foolishness, I long to be free
Oh, what I would give for skin deep allure
And for just once of myself to be sure
Of this foolishness, I long to be free
To love this imperfection, A to Z
And for just once of myself to be sure
Farewell, I say to one so insecure
