Skin
Pigmentation, melanin
Epidermis covering
Different colours, freckles too
All the above is all of you
Virgin born from the womb
Wrinkled, will smooth out soon
In life it serves, protects us all
From many an impending fall
Traumas, bruises eventual scars
From falling down, or life's wars
So hail this special covering
Its our body canvas
We are in.
