Skimped and Home Limped
Skimped and Home Limped
There was this comment I would dread
My poems are poor and not well-read
Be within reach of their understanding
Is what the readers were demanding.
Before you find out that I have died
My poems will be written so simplified
Could be read and understood by me
Words with syllables only up to three.
How many feelings can you find to hurt?
And on back wife never likes my shirt
Color of my clothes she does deplore
Which I will never wear any more.
Anything personal should never take
You do things way wife tries to make
And not being a fool with a loose tool
Now can suffer any amount of ridicule.
With this will you have any familiarity
And have found it all was Horn hilarity
That would not ever breed any contempt
No one liked my poems and home limped.
