Sketches

A new day hurls a windy dawn,
Frozen sleep swirls an early morn.

Sloppy steps move with sleepy lot,
In edgy grooves dull wit now slots.

Turn on the lights and let head sync,
Abruptly bright pace fondles think.

Eyes in dim fit now contrast blur,
Attempt sore bits of body slur.

Sleepy eyes gaze with blurry feel,
A mindless maze treats feeble will.

Adjust and see odd tints and hues,
Head till heavy with dreamy cues.

Moments fly by in sleepy grooves,
A simple sigh frames sketchy moves.

So wake odd nerves and do awake,
Make moments serve that morning take.
