Skeleton Trees

After all these decades...
through countless struggles,wins & defeats...
through joy & sorrows untold,
through unheard voices, through emotions buried deep.
finally you came to an end,
all your beauty faded away, you succumbed to those decades.
with your materialistic cover blown away,
and you stand naked ..
slowly turning colorless...slowly turning still.

"like brown autumn leaves, like skeleton trees"
