Sixties Flashback

A wreath appeared before me -
or was it a noose?
My head soon thrust through it,
I was Bullwinkle Moose.

It happened so fast -
my thoughts in a whirl -
were I one or the other,
I'd be Rocky the Squirrel.

BTW, I met the person (a lady actually) who did the voice of Rocky Squirrel. The cartoons are from the 60s, and I met her at UCLA in the 80s. It was in the Motion Picture Hall and several cartoon voice people were speaking - by this time they were all old, but it was a real kick to hear this old lady sounding exactly like Rocky Squirrel - she did that voice for us students much to our delight.

Hilarious!! So clever and creative. You've made this one appear to be an easy write. I don't think it was. ~ Boris, Natasha, and Mr. Peabody

Thanks, Gershon! Ah yes, Mr. Peabody. I owe him my knowledge of history. Those shows remind me a little bit of Stan Freberg, but I just did some googling and found out my suspicions of a connection between the two is unfounded.
