"six Days of Vacation
My plants sit on the windowsill, some
grow tall some stay small...
They feather the skyline with dark green
leaves and small ones that believe...
All three sit for a view of suburban tree
line, no other window here looks like mine...
From this sight I could dream and write...
Even with the noise of the day my words
seem soft and light...
Trucks and cars race to their work of place...
The little bugs down there run with their briefcase...
Ah a nice vacation week to just watch and see...
But another six days will pass, and those plants
will be watching me!!
